RES EMPLOYEES PAINT MAPHATSINDVUKU CARE POINT, DONATE FOOD


MAPHATSINDVUKU – Employees from RES Corporation took their time off duty to go and change lives at Maphatsindvuku Care Point.



The employees continue to fulfil the company’s role of as an active contributor to Eswatini socio-economic development.

Last week, Thursday 15 employees left their duties and went to paint a structure at the care point where food parcels including beans, 50kg sugar bag, cooking oil and also clothing for the children that benefit from the facility.

The activities of the day lasted for the whole day and it was fruitful as the employees left the care point looking like a home of peace and courage after the painting.

RES Group Public Affairs Manager Sifiso Nyembe said; “RES Corporation is always willing to assist the society wherever we can because without the communities we do not have a business. The care point facility mostly assist children with food and we all know that children are the most precious gift from above. They are the future leaders of the country.”

“I would like to applaud the employees for their efforts and ensuring that they follow the company’s footsteps of giving back to the community.  When fortune comes knocking, it is important to remember others. Giving back creates a virtuous cycle that ensures everyone becomes successful in the end. It also creates room for more to come. By holding back, we might be hindering other blessings meant to cross our paths. Keep in mind that true happiness comes when you give back.”

Nyembe added that during the challenging era of the Covid-19 pandemic, the importance of charity is at the highest level because the aforementioned has affected lives of Emaswati in various ways; financially, emotionally and limitation of travelling, just to mention a few.

“You always make a living by what you get, but you create your life by what you give. The only legacy that is important is what people will remember you for after you perish. Remember, people tend not to recall your material achievements, but the imprint you left by supporting them. Therefore, your greatness is not valid on what you have but what you give. So, strive to leave a mark on the community,” Nyembe highlighted.

Speaking on behalf of Maphatsindvuku community and the care point Nester Masondo extended her sincere excitement and shed tears of joy just before delivering her speech.

“We could not have asked for anything more than this. I could not control my tears of joy as I watched the painting of the care point by the employees. We are grateful for their hard work and we wish them all the best at their duties.”
