EMPLOYEES WELCOME SPRING IN STYLE AT RES

Employees of the ‘Employer of Choice’ – RES, welcomed the new season with invigoration, aspiration and hope of a better life.

 

In the Southern Hemisphere September 1 of every year is considered to be the dawn of a new season in a year, that of Spring. A season that is welcomed, as it is a season of growth, blooms, leaves on the trees, jubilation in animal surroundings, fruits in the making that is seasonable.

RES employees joined countries in the Southern Hemisphere, in celebrating Spring Day.

RES Group Public Manager Sifiso Nyembe said; “It's almost time to hang up those winter coats. The season of flower blossoms and pastel colours is here. Spring is considered to be the first of the four conventional temperate seasons of the year. It follows winter and precedes the summer season. In many cultures, it symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings. As employees we also felt the need to celebrate the new season.”

"Spring makes the world a happy place. You see a smile on every face, flowers come out and birds arrive. Is it not grand to be alive?” Nyembe added.

Noteworthy, Spring is considered the best season in a year because of the pleasant temperatures. During Spring the earth's axis is at an angle in between our closest and farthest point from the sun. The temperatures become more moderate and people say goodbye to the frigid winter and enjoy the transition before a hot summer kicks in.
