SPEED CLEAN ARE RSSC CHARITY GOLF CHAMPS


MANANGA - Speed Clean were on Saturday crowned champions of the RSSC Charity Golf Tournament.
This was during the golf tournament at the Mananga Golf Club, which was an 18 hole, 4 ball tournament.



A total of 20 companies participated in this tourney with Galp Energia Swaziland being the 2018 anchor sponsor
Speed Clean recorded a remarkable net score of 56.0 after a productive day on the greens. Coming through as runners-up was SD General Spares with 56.6, while third placed Enviro Applied Products netted 58 points and Zum Cool came fourth with 58.25 points.
Completing the top five bracket was Nedbank with a net score of 58.37 and the sixth position was highly contested by Stefanutti Stocks with 59.38 points while RSSC Team A came in on number seven with a net score of 59.875. 
Making his brief remarks after the tournament, RSSC MD Nick Jackson applauded the winners and thanked all the companies who came together and played golf for charitable courses.
“This is the fifth tournament since its initiation in 2014 and it has benefitted a number of projects over the past four years. In total this projects amount to more than E500 000 and has served thousands of citizens of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Charity projects done over the past four years include; waters tanks for OVCs Care Point at Vuvulane, a house for an elderly couple at Madlangempisi, E100 000 donation to Swaziland Antivenom Foundation, four boreholes for Hlane, Khuphuka, Mpolonjeni and Sigcaweni East Communities, benefitting more than 1000 families.
….E10 600 was made in Samsung TV raffle draw 
MANANGA - One lucky winner went home with a 50 inch Samsung Smart HDTV, courtesy of Bizhub.
The television set was valued at E12 000 and the tickets were selling at E200 each.
Initially Bizhub had donated the television set to RSSC for the tournament and then the organisers decided to put the TV up for grabs through a raffle draw, all the cash collected from the raffle draw will also go towards charity.
RSSC MD Nick Jackson said they were grateful for the support and promised to continue coming up with innovative ways to raise money for charity.
“Thank you again for your support and the raffle draw has cashed a sum of E10 600 which will all go to charity. We are continuously thinking of creative ways to raise money for social responsibility.”
Shaun Jackson from KPMG team won the TV set after the raffle draw, which was conducted by RSSC’s Group Internal Auditor Mboniseni Simelane.
Bearing Man Swaziland added value to the charity golf tournament as they donated 8 wheelchairs. During last year’s tourney, Bearing Man Swaziland donated 11 wheelchairs and 150 shoes that benefitted the underprivileged.
