MHLUME –Considering all possible risks is one of RSSC’s imperatives of ensuring that employee safety continues to be one of the company’s highest obligation.



The company has again purchased a second ambulance in a bid to strengthen safety and curb fatalities within the business and at community level as well.
Speaking during the official handover of the ambulance, Managing Director Nick Jackson said one of the company’s highest obligations is employee safety.
“Occupational health and safety are affiliated, hence the need of having the proper equipment and resources to curb fatalities. We are determined to take care of our employees and the community at large.” 
“Most accidents, especially road accidents are attended to by RSSC clinics and the arrival of this advanced life support ambulance will aid to save lives and benefit even our neighbouring communities. Please make good use of the ambulance and take care of it.”
“Safety work is today recognized as an economic necessity.” Jackson said.
Jackson further applauded the medical practitioners within the RSSC clinics for their continued devotion of saving lives.
On the other hand, RSSC Health and Wellness Manager Dr Rhoy Shoshore commended RSSC management for their continued support in making sure that all RSSC health facilities have world class equipment.
“With the arrival of this ambulance, we felt the need of training ourselves on how to use the equipment because with technology advancement, there is always a need for proper training.”
“The key factors that would ensure the company remained incident free in the workplace were teamwork and willpower. We are fortunate to have leaders that are ambassadors of a positive healthy lifestyle which the MD is always leading by example,” said the medical expert. 
The company has over the past years launched a number of health and safety initiatives which among others include; breathalyser test at entry and exit points at the workplace, biggest loser competition, advanced gym facilities with discounted membership fees and promotions, reflective vests campaigns for runners and athletes, monthly walks for employees, just to mention a few.
