RSSC gets more than 200 fit at annual aerobathon

RSSC gets‘Get fit, do not quit’ was the slogan of the day last Saturday, as over 200 people packed the Thembelisha Preparatory School for the four hour work out, courtesy of RSSC and The Fitness Zone.
RSSC has three gym facilities commonly known as wellness centres, the gym at Mhlume and two satellite gyms at Simunye and Ngomane. All these facilities are managed by Fitness Zone on behalf of the corporation.

The event started at 9am and ended at 1pm. The dance filled exercises proved to be adding some vibe to the training session as a number of the participants seemed to be enjoying themselves throughout the session, whilst sweating the day away.
This is another way of encouraging members of the public particularly RSSC employees to participate in health and wellness issues which yield positive results of having a company filled with healthy and productive employees.
RSSC Group Public Affairs Manager Sifiso Nyembe expressed his delight and appreciation for the support shown by members of the public from all parts of the country through their participation in the ‘Annual Aerobathon’ and further encouraged them to continue exercising and remain in good health.
“You are only one workout away from a good mood. Strength does not come from physical capacity, it comes from an indomitable will.”
“We are devoted in promoting health and wellness not only for RSSC employees but also the community at large. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the members of the nation who were brave enough to take four hours of their schedule to get fit which validates the intent for us a healthy community translates into a healthy economy,” Nyembe said.
He added that physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.
“Time and health are two precious assets that we do not recognize and appreciate until they have been depleted. The nation is again invited for next year’s aerobathon and details will be communicated.”
