Life Insurance Crowned RSSC Charity Golf Tournament 2017 Champs


Liberty Life Insurance were on Saturday crowned champions of the RSSC Charity Golf Tournament played at Mananga Golf Club.
The tournament was 18 holes and featured competing four-ball teams.


The charity tournament was played by 19 companies, with Castrol/Augusta Enterprises being the major sponsor.Liberty Life Insurance recorded a remarkable net score of 59.37 points after a productive day

“This is the fourth tournament since its initiation in 2014 and it has benefitted a number of charity projects over the past 3 years including; water tanks for an OVC Care point at Vuvulane, a house for an elderly couple at Madlangempisi, E100 000 to snake bike organization for purchasing antivenom; and 2 boreholes, one at Khuphuka and the other at Hlane,” Jackson said.
Representing the major sponsor Augusta Enterprises Technical Director James Mardell said; “Thank you RSSC for partnering with us even this year. All the companies that came here today came to have fun, play and give back to charity, thank you all.”E10 400 made in Mecer Tablets Raffle Draw Four lucky winners went home with tablets after being drawn from the raffle during the
Mecer Tablets Raffle Draw courtesy of Bizhub. Each tablet was valued at E2 000 and the tickets were selling at E100 each.

Initially, Bizhub donated the four tablets to RSSC for the tournament and then the organizers of the tourney decided to put the tablets up for grabs through a raffle draw, all the cash collected from the raffle draw will also go to charity.
RSSC Group Public Affairs Manager Sifiso Nyembe said; “Thank you again for your support and the raffle draw has cashed a sum of E10 400 which will all go to charity. We are continuously thinking of creative ways to raise money for social responsibility. “The winners of the raffle draw were; Wilma Mason, Leon Nxumalo, Ryan van de Watt and Martin Litschka. Bearing Man Swaziland and Rotary Club added value to the charity golf tournament as they donated 11 wheelchairs and 150 shoes that will benefit the underprivileged.
